Heat Transfer / Energy Systems
Heat transfer is the transition of thermal energy from a body of higher temperature to a lower temperature. When a body is at a temperature different from that of their surroundings or other body, the thermal energy transfer, also known as heat transfer or heat exchange, it occurs such that the body and its surroundings reach thermal equilibrium. Heat transfer always occurs from a warmer to a cooler, as a result of the second law of thermodynamics body. When there is a temperature difference between two objects in proximity to one another, the heat transfer can not be stopped; it can only be slowed.
